Martial Manager was not built by a software company that surveyed the market and found a gap. It was built by two martial artists who got frustrated with how their own club was running the admin badly, on paper and in spreadsheets.
Why we built it
Every club system we looked at was built for a gym: one member, one monthly fee, a desktop dashboard, and a pile of marketing tools bolted on the side. None of them knew what a grading week looks like, or that a family with three kids on the mat is one decision, not three customers, or that the club owner is standing on a mat in bare feet when they need the information — not sitting at a laptop.
And none of them helped with the thing that actually decides whether a club survives: the members you already have, quietly drifting away, three weeks before you notice.

How we work with clubs
- We set it up with you. Timetable, membership types, fees, Stripe. Not an empty account and a help centre.
- You can reach a person. The people who build it are the people who answer you, and they train.
- We speak your language. Juniors and seniors, family memberships, hall bookings, school holidays. You should not have to translate your club into “customers” and “bookings”.
- We tell you what we do not do. We do not find you members, we do not run your marketing, and we do not message your members pretending to be you.
Why the pricing is the promise
We take a small share of the member payments that flow through the system and charge nothing else. No subscription means we cannot get paid by clubs that are not growing — if you are not signing and keeping members, we are not eating.
That is not a marketing line, it is the mechanism. It is also why the whole product is pointed at retention rather than acquisition: your next member is one you already have, and keeping them is the thing we are both paid for.
